In this paper, we have studied flat Friedmann--Lema\^{\i}tre--Robertson--Walker (FLRW) model with modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) having equation of state p_{m}=A\rho -% \frac{B}{\rho ^{\gamma }}, where 0A10\leq A\leq 1, 0γ10\leq \gamma \leq 1 and BB is any positive constant in }f(R,T){\footnotesize f(R,T)}{\footnotesize \ gravity with particle creation. We have considered a simple parametrization of the Hubble parameter HH in order to solve the field equations and discussed the time evolution of different cosmological parameters for some obtained models showing unique behavior of scale factor. We have also discussed the statefinder diagnostic pair {r,s}\{r,s\} that characterizes the evolution of obtained models and explore their stability. The physical consequences of the models and their kinematic behaviors have also been scrutinized here in some detail.Comment: 21 pages, 23 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1603.02573 by other author

We report the detailed study of structural micro-structuraland high magnetic field magneto transport propertiesof Bi2Se3single crystal. Bi2Se3 single crystal is grown through conventional solid-state reaction route via the self-flux method. Rietveld analysis on Powder X-ray Diffraction showed that the studied Bi2Se3 crystal is crystallized in single-phase without any impurity. The surface morphology analyzed through Scanning Electron Microscopy study which shows that as-grown single crystal exhibit layered type structure and the quantitative weight of the atomic constituents (Bi and Se) are found to be closeto the stoichiometric amount in energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis. Low temperature (2.5K) magneto-resistance (MR) exhibited a v-type cusp around origin at lower magnetic field, which is the sign of weak anti-localization effect. Further, Bi2Se3 single crystal magneto conductivity data is fitted by well-known HLN equation in different magnetic field range of 2Tesla, 4Tesla and 6Tesla and the resultant found that the conduction mechanism of Bi2Se3 is dominated by WAL state.Comment: 4 Pages Text + Fig

Challenges of “Reverse” Aortic Arch Debranching for Repair of the Ascending Aorta by Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair

IntroductionAscending aortic pathology presents a unique challenge for treatment by thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), because of lack of adequate endograft landing zones. This report describes a unique “reverse” extra-anatomical aortic arch debranching procedure performed to enable TEVAR of the ascending aorta.ReportA 71-year-old male presented with a large ascending aortic pseudoaneurysm secondary to previous arch repair anastomosis. This pathology was treated by TEVAR of the ascending aorta. To create a sufficient landing zone for the endovascular stent graft, a “reverse” extra-anatomical aortic arch debranching procedure was performed. This involved a left subclavian artery to left carotid artery bypass, left to right carotid-to-carotid bypass, ligation of proximal left common carotid artery, and embolization of the innominate artery origin.DiscussionTEVAR of the ascending aorta can be made feasible through a novel debranching procedure that creates sufficient landing zones for the endograft. This surgical approach may prove useful in patients who present with aortic arch pathology and comorbidities that prevent open surgical repair

Physical activity throughout pregnancy is key to preventing chronic disease

According to The Developmental Origins of Health and Disease theory, the intrauterine environment of the developing fetus may impact later life physiology, including susceptibility to chronic disease conditions. Maternal exposures during pregnancy can affect the intrauterine environment and result in fetal programming for chronic diseases through changes in the structure or function of specific organs. Negative maternal exposures, such as poor nutrition intake, have been shown to increase the risk for later life chronic diseases. On the contrary, healthful behaviors, such as physical activity, may have a positive and protective effect against chronic disease risk. This narrative review summarizes literature to discuss the potential preventative role prenatal physical activity may have on prevalent chronic diseases: obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. We describe the natural physiological response to pregnancy that may increase the risk for complications and consequently later life disease for both mother and baby. We then present evidence highlighting the role prenatal exercise may have in preventing pregnancy complications and downstream chronic disease development, as well as proposing potential mechanisms that may explain the protective maternal and fetal physiological response to exercise. As the prevalence of these non-communicable diseases increase globally, intervening during pregnancy with an effective exercise intervention may be the key to preventing chronic disease risk in more than one generation

A Survey on Image Steganography & its Techniques in Spatial & Frequency Domain

Steganography is an intelligent art of communicating in a way which hides the endurance of the communication. The image steganography technique takes the asset of confined power of visual system of human being. The art of hiding information such that it averts ferreting out of hidden messages is getting very popular nowadays, which is referred as Steganography. The word Steganography has been educed from the two Greek words - Steganos, which mean covered or secret and Graphy mean writing or drawing. There have been many techniques for hiding information or messages in images in such a manner that the modifications made to the image are perceptually undetected. This paper proposes the evaluation of a few techniques of the Image Steganography in spatial domain and frequency domain. The Image Steganography techniques in spatial domain that would be discussed are Least-Significant-Bit (LSB), LSB Replacement, LSB Matching, and Bit Plane Complexity Segmentation Steganography and frequency domain techniques to be conferred in this paper are Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Singular Valued Decomposition (SVD). Steganography technique is intended to be compared with the Watermarking Technique. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15027

Development of Probabilistic Structural Analysis Integrated with Manufacturing Processes

    Get PDF
An effort has been initiated to integrate manufacturing process simulations with probabilistic structural analyses in order to capture the important impacts of manufacturing uncertainties on component stress levels and life. Two physics-based manufacturing process models (one for powdered metal forging and the other for annular deformation resistance welding) have been linked to the NESSUS structural analysis code. This paper describes the methodology developed to perform this integration including several examples. Although this effort is still underway, particularly for full integration of a probabilistic analysis, the progress to date has been encouraging and a software interface that implements the methodology has been developed. The purpose of this paper is to report this preliminary development

Effects of Gamma Radiation on the concentration of 5 Hydroxy L Tryptophan and 5 Hydroxytryptamine in presence of Radioprotector in Sprague Dawley Rats

The result of variation of 5-hydroxy-L-tryptophan (HT) and S-hydroxytryptamine (S-HT) in different tissues of control and gamma-irradiated Sprague Dawley rats with and without a radioprotector Beeta-amino-ethylisothiuronium bromide hydrobromide (AET) combination e.g. (HT + AET) have been studied. The retention of HT, in the tissues studied, decreased after lethal dose (10.5 Gy) but for 5-HT, no such trend was observed after incorporation of HT + AET. A slight tendency of both metabolites to come back to control level was also observed for Sprague Dawley rats. In urine, concentration of HT was less compared to 5-HT with a lethal dose (10.5 Gy). After incorporation of HT + AET the turnover rate of HT and 5-HT were found to be maximum when it was injected through intraperitoneal route
